Photo Magentaplus (previously known as Jim McGrath Photography) was established three years ago and is based in Kissonerga, Paphos. We cover the areas of Paphos, Kato Paphos, Coral Bay, Polis, Latchi, Aphrodite Hills, Secret Valley, Pissouri & Limassol and work closely with many professional photographers throughout the island.

Photo Magentaplus specialises in Wedding and Portrait Photography and is run by English husband and wife team Jim & Karen McGrath. The emphasis is on providing you with the very best quality wedding photographs that you will treasure forever.

We offer you an individual personal service that will blend with your day. We photograph no more than one wedding in a day and limit the number we accept each month to retain that personal touch. Therefore, if your timings change on your day we can fit in with you. Our style is relaxed and natural; even those who normally shy away from the camera feel comfortable. Our bridal couples often tell us at times they forgot we were there.

Originally from England Jim specialises in Wedding and Portrait Photography.
A member of SWPP (Society of Wedding & Portrait Photographers), a Certified Photographic Consultant, with the added bonus of expertise in developing and processing having trained with Fuji, UK.

Karen and I married in Las Vegas so we both understand what it feels like to marry abroad. I have a stepdaughter Sarah who is passionate about film, television and photography. Following her travels around Australia and New Zealand came to join us for 18 months here in Cyprus. But as we thought she got itchy feet again and now travels the world working on cruise ships.


About Karen

Originally from England Karen now specialises in marketing and photographic production. An associate member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing with experience in freelance marketing consultancy, professional business networking. conference/event management, training/development and also a qualified hair stylist and beautician.

Jim and I decided to make the move to Cyprus as we felt the UK could no longer offer us the lifestyle we wanted. My work involves marketing our photography services here in Cyprus along with managing our web site/s and taking care of the most important part of our business - our customers! I love supporting our bridal couples in the run up to their special day, meeting them in Cyprus and assisting Jim on the day itself.

We have met so many wonderful people through our work here, many of which have been back to visit.
